The Field House is one of the oldest remaining Georgian Houses still in existence in Ontario. Having withstood the American invasion of 1812 as well as a direct hit by a US Artillery Battery, the house is a gem where only the most skilled craftsman can be expected to maintain the true spirit of the house. Kevin and Brian of Hall Ironworks are the only craftsman who have the skill, knowledge, understanding and ability to fabricate iron work for our house. Their attention to detail and flavour while at the same time understanding the direction of the owner are most commendable.
